Mobile Meets Web

An interesting topic has been making the airwavews recently: mobile web searching. Many cellular phones offer web access on phones, but how often do you, or anyone you know, use this feature? For those of you who DO use it, how easy is it to navigate, find uselful information, and most of all, read the text on your screen?

If you do use this technological feature so many cell phones offer, and charge plenty extra for whether you use it or not, you probably would appreciate a more user-friendly format.

Of course, if you're in the US there's a smaller percentage chance that you use mobile web features for anything useful. Why? Because the US is one of the slowest to embrace this mobile-web trend. Slow load times, large pages and incorrect formatting for mobile loading make usage a hassle rather than a convenience. Oftentimes it's much easier to get to your local PC or Mac and hope online for info than try to navigate through your cell.

European countries are seeing a spike in mobile-web usage. Then again, as with many designer elements Europe tends to be more forward-moving than the good ol' US of A.
